Easy to Buy And Sell: Ebay Backend

Give your users an easy to use, simple to navigate, auction interface to search, buy and sell on Ebay. By providing them with an invaluable tool for locating new, used and hard to find products at great discount prices, you also add value to your site, you add an additional incentive for visitors to return and as a member of the affiliate programme you can generate some extra income too!

• Version 3.0 - Demo - Features main eBay categories/subcategories for USA, Canadian, UK and Australian listings. The script also supports the other 9 non English eBay programs: France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria and Taiwan but these have been disabled in the demo.
• USA Only Version - Demo - Features categories/subcategories, ability to sort search results, seller signup and buyers guide links.
• UK  Only Version - Demo - As USA above but features products priced in UK pounds sterling.
• *Free Version - Demo - A simple version providing users with a basic browse and search interface for the main eBay.com categories.

Requirements

1. Website hosting on a server that runs php scripts. The default script generates dynamic urls but if your server has support for mod_rewrite the full version comes with a .htaccess file to produce static, search engine friendly URLs (as seen in the demo).

Installation

Installation is very simple. Full details are supplied in the zip package available for download below.

Customisation

Bar the necessary editing for installation, the Online Auctions PHP script can be used 'as is' without further modification but most likely you will want to add your logo or company name and/or make it match the rest of an existing website.

Affiliate Program

The default setup is for the script to run whether you are a member of the Ebay affiliate program or not. To receive payments you will need to join through one of the affiliate management companies e.g. Commission Junction and make sure you enter the relevant info in index.php (free version) or constants.php (full version).

After you have downloaded, all you need to do is double-click on the downloaded file. In the window that pops up, click save. This will save the zip file to your desktop (if you do not change the default location). Open the zip file and see README.txt.
